This project brief required us to go out and capture a range of motion based visuals from our surrounding environment. To supplement our work we could also create practical visual effects in the studio. 

We were then asked to creating a single piece of motion design of our choosing using the footage and stills we generated throughout the project as the basis for our ideas. I opted to create two finished motion design pieces. First I developed a promotional teaser trailer for OFFF design festival, and secondly, a movie opening title sequence.

Below is a short compilation of the practical fluid effects I utilised in both of my finished projects. In my teaser trailer for OFFF, these effects were used as 3d projection maps, and in my movie title sequence they served as alpha and luma mattes during transitions.
